Introduction

NAINA hosts a Biennial Educational Conference that showcases motivational speakers and content experts on a variety of topics of interest to nurses and nursing. During this conference, attendees have multiple opportunities to connect face to face with peers, and to meet nurse leaders and decision makers on a national platform.

Our primary purpose is to provide educational and networking opportunities for all. In addition, the conference presents Indian nurses with an avenue to disseminate their scholarly research and share their clinical expertise on a national stage. We strongly encourage our nurses to develop their presentation skills and bolster their CVs by submitting an abstract for podium and poster presentations.

National Association of Indian Nurses of America(NAINA) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

NAINA received primary accreditation as a continuing education activity provider in September 2019. ANCC accreditation as a provider is the recognition of high quality continuing nursing education offered by an organization. NAINA underwent a comprehensive analysis of its structure, process, and outcomes by ANCC to earn this status. As the ANCC accredited provider, NAINA becomes a pioneer among the minority nurses associations that provides professional development opportunities based on ANCC standards. ANCC accreditation endorses NAINA’s commitment to professional excellence.
